A pretty good write-up in The Guardian on Nairobi's nightlife and live music scene, kicking off with Just A Band of whom, you must surely be aware by now. No? Makmende? To be fair, I don't think the Guardian editors know who they are either, coz they're a three-member house/funk/soul/electronica group, not the eight-piece band shown above. And they're all male.
