While Zimbabwe is a more peaceful place today than it was following the 2008 elections, economic conditions are still dire – the most recent estimate of unemployment puts it at 90%, but that’s just ridiculous. Whatever the true figure, it is still likely to be among the world’s highest. Not surprisingly, hundreds cross the border everyday into neighbouring countries, especially South Africa.
