Not if it has your help
Not if it has your help

Your government has proposed a new constitution. How on earth do you get your average citizen, especially the younger voters, to read it? If you are one of the twenty-something bright sparks at Kuweni Serious you come up with the idea of amusing comic strips illustrating the key points therein. Click on "Read More"

THE UNDERWEAR RULE?

The Underwear Rule
The Underwear Rule

Heard of The Underwear Rule? Neither had we until we took a look at the strip illustrating the issue of emergency medical care. (See all comic strips).

Prompted by the post-election "fire" which threatened to tear Kenya apart, and the economic consequences thereof, Kuweni Serious was set up to - in their own words - "fight the evil forces of apathy".

APATHY NO MORE
Brand-obsessed party-animals congregating on Facebook by day and using TV, music and brands as our badges of identity. Sound familiar? That's how members of the the new generation of Kenyans have been characterised. But the clued-up and very curious members of Kuweni Serious are of this generation, too, so they've set themselves the ongoing task of finding out what other members of this so called apathetic generation really thinks of the political and economic chaos around them.

Sounds to me like we could use versions of Kuweni Serious all over the world. Wouldn't you agree?

Visit Kuweni Serious. It'll make you wanna get off your butt and do something!
