Keziah Jones, born Olufemi Sanyaolu in 1968 in Lagos, Nigeria, is a singer-songwriter and guitarist. His father enrolled him in a Public School in London from the age of eight  to follow in his footsteps as an industrialist.
Keziah had other plans though, as by the age of 13 he discovered the piano and taught himself how to play and write songs. Three years later he switched to the guitar, increasingly neglecting his studies. After scraping through exams he went against the family  expectations even more by skipping school and busking in the streets, clubs and London Underground.

By 1991 Keziah had moved to Paris, and while playing in the Paris Metro, he was discovered by a man from French music label Delabel. In 1992, Delabel signed Keziah for his debut album, called 'Blufunk Is a fact', which included the worldwide success of Keziah's first single 'Rhythm is Love.'
Keziah Jones also paints, writes poetry, and he has produced short films including 'Blackspeedtext'. This film, his music and other facets of his artistic life reflect his experiences on the streets.
