This Is Africa

Kele Okereke is a UK born artist of Nigerian heritage. In high school, Kele Okereke befriended Russell Lissack, and with Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong they formed the band Bloc Party in 2003. Two years later, Bloc Party released their first studio album, titled 'Silent Alarm'. The album reached number three in the UK charts and propelled the band to fame.

Okereke released his first solo album, titled 'The Boxer', produced by XXXChange, in 2010. He featured on Tiësto's song ‘'It's Not the Things You Say' and collaborated with South African producers like dj Qness and dj Mujava.
