Audius was born in 1977 in Harare, Zimbabwe. He attended Peterhouse Boys, a private British boarding school where he sang in the school choir and played the drums. It was in Australia, after getting his university degree in 2002, that he started producing. He produced almost all songs of Selwyn’s album ‘Meant To Be’ which reached number nine on the Australian ARIA Album charts and was certified Gold. In 2003 he collaborated with Delta Goodrem on ‘Innocent Eyes’ co-writing and producing the number one single ‘Born to Try’. This single became Goodrem's first number one single. Audius produced songs and albums for many artists in Australia. Jessica Mauboy’s album ‘Been Waiting’ with the single ‘Running Back’ won highest selling single on the ARIA Music Awards of 2009.

Audius has released four solo albums, 'Audius' (2002), 'Ever After' (2003), 'Music and Me' (2005) and 'Day Like This' (2008) in Africa. They all contributed to his success in Zimbabwe and South Africa. He won the Best Urban Grooves (Male) at the Zimbabwe Music Awards in 2003.
