Eric Soul is a dj/turntablist from Rwanda, based in the UK. Born in Rwanda, Eric grew up in Belgium and then moved to London.
His interest in music was sparked while living in Brussels in the late eighties. Here he started out as a dj at different events, playing African alongside western urban grooves. After moving to London he started his monthly Afrogroov parties in the Ritzy, a cafe in Brixton (South London). In the new millennium he got many dj gigs throughout Europe and in Africa and he got to work with a diverse range of African artists. In 2009, Eric Soul started working with pan-African bilingual tv station Voxafrica, producing and presenting Wahala, his own show on African music.
