Dj Brian was born in 1974 in Beaufort-west (Cape Town). He developed a passion for music as a child and at the age of 24 he decided to pursue his dream of being a dj. Before starting his musical career he had worked as a store detective at Shoprite Checkers, but from 2001 he focused entirely on the art of deejaying. He has played in various clubs in and around Cape Town, but in 2007 he was discovered by his current employer, Amadoda Braai in Woodstock, Cape Town. From playing a guest dj set there he went on to become the resident dj of Amadoda. In 2009 he was invited to play at the Soweto fest alongside South Africa's most popular deejays.

Brian can be heard live every saturday from 10 PM to midnight (GMT+1) through TIA African Hit Radio.
