Nigerian dancehall: Squeeze drops "Hi-Voltage" mixtape

Squeeze - Hi-Voltage - The Mixtape (front)

We've been rather impressed with the tracks we've heard so far from up-and-coming Nigerian Dancehall artist Squeeze. As we mentioned a short while back, the first two earned him some encouraging airplay back home, on the back of which he put out a couple more last December from soon-to-drop mixtape.

The signs remained good from that second set of releases, and now comes the full 12-track Hi-Voltage mixtape, presented by DJ Humility. All we can say is this guy sure knows how to make gbedu music! It's a mixtape, but still you listen to it and think, you're giving all of this away for free? And we certainly weren't expecting Bad Belle (be ready to dance, people). Squeeze and DJ Humility really mix things up, so each track is quite distinctive.

We posted four of the tracks already and above are two more. I'm tempted to post all of 'em, but rather than waste more time doing that, why don't you just DOWNLOAD the lot?

And don't forget to give him your feedback. He'd really like to know what you think. Our top picks: Yanga For Me, Bad Belle, Good Music and Party on a Friday.
