For anyone yet to make the acquaintance of this Ghanaian rap duo but who might already be guessing from their name and album title that they're not your average rap artists, the FOKN Bois (Wanlov the Kubolor and M3NSA) are the most irreverent rap duo you're likely to come across anytime soon.
Their irreverence, as is the case with many comedians, is often in the service of something more serious, usually some sensitive subject or the other, such as homophobia, as they do on the track Strong Homosexual Guys, or the issue of skin bleaching, as they do on Want To Be White. The rivalry between Ghana and Nigeria may well be friendly but the FOKN Bois still stirred up quite a shitstorm with their track Thank God We're Not A Nigerians. And we're not sure if Sexin Islamic Girls will put more noses out of joint than Jesus Is Coming (one of our favourites from the album), but it's clear the the FOKN Bois are not too worried about offending anyone who doesn't get the joke.
