"Past Time", Hip Hop Pantsula's perfect summer groove

The deliciously phat bass on this tracks is just killing! What a perfect summer groove! Past Time is the lead single from Hip Hop Pantsula's forthcoming album Motswafrika, out on the 1st of September (Motswafrika means 'An African' or 'Someone from Africa'). The track features Cassper Nyovest, KGzim and Omar El.

Jabulani Tsambowho, better known as Hip Hop Pantsula, HHP, Double-H P or simply Jabba) is one of South Africa's leading artists (rap or otherwise); you may remember him from his performance at the opening ceremony of the last World Cup. He has shared the stage with artists like Snoop Dogg, Jamie Cullum and Angelique Kidjo, and collaborated with K'naan, Nas and, on this new album, Talib Kweli.

Besides putting out great music, he is also known for rapping in several South African languages, such as isiZulu, Sesotho and Setswana (especially the latter, which he mixes with English, making him one of the Motswako rappers).

Motswafrika will be HHP's 7th studio album, and, besides the names already mentioned, features contributions from DJ Hamma, Thassman, Teepee, Nothende and Gabriel Asheru Benn, fellow Motswako rappers Tuks Senganaga and Elemente, and American singers Raheem Devaughn and the Grammy-nominated Carolyn Malachi.

September 1st is but a few weeks away.
