It may only have been a friendly at Wembley, but the England squad has been looking pretty solid this year. And so has Africa's top-ranked team. Thus, the Black Stars won't be beating themselves up too much for having to make do with a 1 - 1 draw, particularly as it looked very much like The Three Lions were having it their way in the first half. And Ghana remains top of Group I in the African Cup of Nations qualifying rounds, so good news all round.
And more good news for the two winners of our Football Fables competition (see below), which is now closed.
The question to win an autographed DVD copy of the of the award-winning documentary was:
What is the nickname of the Ghanaian national team?
The answer, of course, is the Black Stars, which everyone got, but we have only two copies to give away so we chucked all the names in a hat, gave it a good shake, and the first two names we picked out were:
Jo-Ann Osei-Twum
Ryan Musser
Congratulations! Your autographed copy of the award-wining documentary will be on its way to you shortly.
Thanks, commiserations and better luck next time to everyone else. Football Fables is available to buy from www.footballfables.co.uk.
