International Radio Festival featuring African radio show

The International Radio Festival from Zurich Switzerland is about to start for its second edition. From 9-19 June dozens of international radio stations and deejays are featuring on this major radio event, all to be listened live on digital web stream.

Over 30 radio stations from China to Canada are performing live, most of them on a 2-hours slot. Amongst these renowned radio stations is our very own Ghetto Radio, representing as the one and only the African continent in music (DJ Prince), hosted by Linda Adongo.

Miguel Mantovani (Zurich), Maji Maji (Nairobi) and DJ Nomski (London)

The Festival, starting off on June 9, will feature from day 1 a 2 hours show from Nairobi Kenya, slot is scheduled Thursday 9/6, 12-14 hour GMT+1.

As from last year Ghetto Radio seems a dedicated partner in the Festival. In 2010 the team broadcasted live from Zurich, this year the show will be prerecorded, featuring jams from all over the African continent and interesting links about social topics affecting and inspiring the African new generations.

The video is showcasing the full event of 2010, including a live interview with Ghetto Radio team.
