On the eve of his new single release Veverita, This Is Africa sat with Ghanaian rapper Wanlov the Kubolor for a chat about his musical upbringing, his inspirations, credit card fraud as a means of survival, the motivation behind his move from the US to Ghana, the importance of pidgin language ('Music that sounds like us!') and his plans for the coming months - including the launch of the Broken Language video, which according to Wanlov will make us forget about Kanye and Jay-Z's 'Otis' video.
